***UPDATE***

The stamping of USSSA, USA, BBCOR, USABat and Little League would all be acceptable on bats.  Only bats specifically banned by Little League would not be allowed, pending that the qualifications below for each league are met by the bat (barrel size and drop).  Little League updated their bat rules after we finished ours this year, so there was a difference in verbiage we are attempting to address.

BBA has gone back and evaluated the bat rules to update them some more, after additional feedback:

403.2.2 Major, Minor, Rookie, and Instructional Bat Specifications.  The bat must meet Little League specifications and standards.  It shall be a smooth, rounded stick and made of wood or of material tested and proved acceptable to Little League standards.  It shall not be more than 33 inches in length, limited in barrel diameter by age (Majors - 2-3/4", Minors, Rookie and Instructional 2-5/8"), limited in drop by age (Major -10, Minor -11, Rookie and Instructional -13) and if wood, not less than 15/16 inches in diameter (7/8 inches for bats less than 30”) at its smallest part.  Bats may be taped or fitted with a sleeve for a distance not exceeding 16 inches from the small end.  No laminated bat shall be used.

Please note these changes DO NOT affect the Pony level at all.

Thank you!
